The Sacrament of Baptism
"Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations,
Baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son,

Families desiring to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism for infants and young children are requested to schedule an appointment to discuss and review what will be required. Please contact Deacon John Jurasek at (845) 365-3618. You may wish to fill out the Baptism Application Form before meeting with Deacon Jurasek. Baptism Application Form
Baptisms are celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month. Families should be active, practicing Catholics and registered members of our Parish. Baptismal Sponsors or Godparents (one man and one woman) who are not St. Catharine Parishioners will need to obtain letters from the Parish where they are presently attending indicating that they are fully initiated Roman Catholics, regularly practice their faith, and that they may serve in this role.
