1943- Opening of Camp Shanks

1944- St. Catharine's Celebrates its Diamond (75th) Jubilee

1946- Camp Shanks Converted into Shanks Village, first residents move in.

1955- Opening of Tappan Zee Bridge.

1956- Last tenants leave Shanks Village

1957- St. Catharine's School opens.

1958- Dedication of St. Catharine's School

1962- First Graduation Class from St. Catharine's School

1964- Fire destroys old St. Catharine's Church

1966- Construction of new St. Catharine's Church begins

1968- Dedication of new church and 100th Anniversary Celebration

1993- Refurbishing of church for 125th Anniversary Celebration
